When Gemma reached out to, me to see if i would capture her magical day, for me, this was a no brainer. I use to go to school with Gemma, so it made everything so much better the fact that we knew each other already.
I was over the moon when Gemma told me that she was getting married and when I saw her email land in my inbox, I had to look twice. But it's funny really because I have now done a few old friends weddings and it honestly means so much to me that they get in touch.
When you book your photographer, it's really important that you feel at ease around them. This will always bring out the best in you, and this will reflect in your images. If your photographer is trying to get you on a quick call to have a chat with them, this is something i would 100% recommend as you can get a better feel for how that person will be on the day.
